The first joint symposium on legal considerations in obstetrics and gynecology and the development of a training course in this regard with the presence of Dr. Rashidi, President of the Center, Dr. Saeedinia, Senior Advisor and Judiciary Lawyer, Dr. Farinaz Mousavi, Forensic Medicine Specialist And the faculty members of Dr. Ghaemi and Dr. Heidari Center were held at Valiasr Reproductive Health Research Center.

Dr. Rashidi explained the need to hold this course and its importance for gynecologists and residents. Ms. Dr. Ghaemi explained the proposed topics of the training course and the problems faced by physicians in the legal and judicial process.

Dr. Saeedinia regarding criminal and penal responsibilities, Islamic Penal Code, the relationship between physicians and patients, medical malpractice and determining the risk of any action, the method of complaint and defense and disciplinary responsibilities and, if necessary, establishing defined processes for the Ministry of Health and The young judges explained. They also explained the weak link between the Ministry of Health and the judiciary in legal matters.

Dr. Mousavi also stressed the need to provide a course on ethics and legal issues for incoming residents and explained the concerns of physicians in the prosecutor's office and the courts.

Dr. Heidari also stressed the need for a joint plan of the Ministry of Health and the Judiciary for synergy. Dr. Rashidi explained the serious responsibilities of physicians and the importance of individualization in medicine and target therapy and the natural complications of any surgery. They also said that the doctor has a very difficult decision to make in some cases of treatment.

The collective emphasis of the colleagues as the central board was to determine the issues in this field under the supervision of gynecologists, forensics and lawyers in order to observe all the necessary aspects. Also, after identifying the issues, in order to increase the executive guarantee of the project, it should be discussed in the educational commission, and finally, the written topics should be written as a book for the use of experts.
